About Interior Alaska Bus Line
Interior Alaska Bus Line saw a need for inexpensive transportation to and from Anchorage and Fairbanks through Tok. Many Alaskans — and visitors too — either don't drive, don't have a vehicle, or found it impossible to cover the long distances between towns.
Connecting Remote Alaska Since 2011
Interior Alaska Bus Line was created to fill a real gap: affordable, reliable transportation between Anchorage, Tok, and Fairbanks for people who can't or choose not to drive the vast distances of Interior Alaska.
In 2013 we expanded our fleet with four-wheel drive 12-passenger vans for excellent year-round travel. To help with continued growth and to prevent over-crowding, we purchased two 20-passenger buses in 2017.
We're proud to provide a critical service for rural Alaskans — whether you're heading to a medical appointment, visiting family, or just exploring this incredible state.
